One spent many years in the Southern high latitudes including multiple seasons exploring Antarctica, the Chilean Fjords and South Georgia! This vessel is a superb example of the design and presents in excellent condition through out. Under previous ownership it cruised through Alaska, Mexico, Chile, the South Pacific Islands, and even weathered a Typhoon in Japan, before arriving in Hobart. Those adventurous owners even spent two winters onboard in Vancouver where the hull insulation, and diesel heater kept them warm and comfortable. The vessel has since been used to explore the stunning waters of Southern Tasmania under the last two owners, and also been utilized as a comfortable liveaboard. Stepping inside, the charming timber trims and clean white finishes give a warm and welcoming ambience. The central saloon features a generous folding dinette, with seating for 8 in comfort on on the stunning red settees. The galley is to port and is well appointed with a 4 burner gas stove with oven, top loading fridge and freezer, double bowl stainless steel sink with H/C pressurised water, and plenty of storage for longer stays onboard. Opposite is the traditional chart table which will please even the most discerning sailor. It is well set up for easy navigation with modern technology including an AIS receiver, and plenty of room for paper charts. The accommodation is ideal for a cruising couple with occasional guests. There is a generous double v-berth forward with custom inner spring mattress. There are two single settee berths in the saloon when additional accommodation is required. The package is complete with private bathroom with toilet with holding tank, H/C shower, and vanity.

On deck, the vessel is superbly set up for shorthanded offshore sailing. It features the mainsail in a boom bag with lazy jacks, self tailing winches, all lines lead aft to the cockpit, and a quality set of sails. The performance of this vessel really needs to be experienced to be fully appreciated. The design is renowned for its excellent performance on all points of sail, and its true sea keeping abilities in challenging conditions. There is easy access around the wide side decks, and an electric anchor winch on the bow with over sized anchor and chain for extra security.
