Built to an exceptionally high standard, this Bilge Keel Boden Pilothouse Ketch really is something special! Designed as a true Bluewater Cruiser, it is capable, comfortable, and could fulfil even the most ambitious cruising aspirations. The well equipped Pilothouse makes it very well suited to expedition style cruising in the cooler climates, and the vessel is well set up to be easily managed shorthanded. With its impressive accommodation it would also make an ideal liveaboard for a family and is ideal for extended stays on board. This is a vessel that ticks all the boxes and is sure to impress on inspection!

Stepping inside, the pilothouse is fully protected, with great visibility, and all controls in easy reach. Just a few easy steps down takes you to the generous saloon, which is set up with a comfortable lounge to starboard, large TV, and is an excellent space to relax and unwind. Another step down is the well appointed galley. This is complete with stove with oven, microwave, huge fridge, and plenty of storage. Opposite is the dinette with seating for 6 in comfort on the neatly upholstered settees. Moving forward, there is an office area to port with large desk, and washing machine. To starboard is a separate shower, and laundry area. The accommodation really does make this an ideal liveaboard for a family and features a stunning master suite aft with extensive storage and adjacent shower and vanity. Also aft is a crew cabin with two single bunk beds. There is a third private cabin in the forepeak with 4 single bunk beds. The package is complete with a private bathroom with toilet adjacent to the saloon. A big feature of the interior of this vessel is the quality of the timber fit out. This has been superbly done, and presents in excellent condition throughout. The attention to details really has to be seen to be appreciated!

Outside, the aft deck is an ideal area for entertaining, alfresco dining, or relaxing at your favourite anchorage. There is a stunning folding leaf table in the centre of the cockpit and seating for up to 8 people. There are dinghy davits, aluminium tender, and duck board for easy trips ashore, and plenty of storage for water toys. Moving around the vessel is easy with the wide side decks, solid stainless steel guard rails, and excellent non slip decking. The sail management systems are very well set up for ease of use with in mast furling for the main and mizzen, and furlers for a genoa and self tacking stay sail. Again, the quality of the deck gear really needs to be seen to be appreciated!

The vessel is powered by a Scania-Vabis 200HP Diesel Engine which provides an easy 7 knots at only 1200RPM! This is located under the saloon floor in a substantial engine room, which is well set up for easy servicing of all systems including the genset.

This vessel is now offered for sale as part of a deceased estate and presents an incredible opportunity to enjoy of vessel of this size and quality for a fraction of what it is worth. The owner of the vessel was sadly lost in Bass Strait and the vessel was tied up at the Flinders Island dock for approximately 18 months. During this time some superficial damage was done to the paintwork on the starboard side where it rubbed against the jetty. The vessel has since been motored to Hobart (the delivery skipper noted how well the engine ran and the excellent performance at low RPMS), has been slipped, freshly antifouled, and is ready for a new owner. It will require some new sails, and some work may be required on some of the systems. The inventory has been compiled from a visual inspection and we make no guarantees about whether all items listed are in working order. This really is a huge opportunity for someone to enjoy an exceptional vessel which with a little TLC will increase substantially in value.
