This IMMACULATELY PRESENTED Catalina 355 (10.76m LOA) was launched in 2012, has had limited use to the owners unforeseen change of circumstances, and consequently is in literally AS NEW CONDITION, with the engine having only done approx 200 hours.
This is a two cabin version with easy steps down into the main saloon, beautifully fitted out in gleaming varnished teak with white upholstered settee cushions all looking like new.
The galley is to starboard with double bowl sink, very large 12volt refrigeration unit with access from the bench top, two burner gas stove with oven and stacks of storage.
Opposite is the nav station featuring a large chart table, very well laid out electrical switch panels and again good storage.
This will suit the more experienced sailors or the novice as it provides an easy to manage area for the boats systems plus space for paper charts if so desired which we do not often see on today's production boats
The dinette has a beautifully finished timber table that folds out to seat up to eight, or when folded in is an intimate space for a family or couple.
Again the quality of the fitout is shown here.
The largeand private master cabin is for'ard, featuring an island type large double bed, very good storage and even has a small vanity unit/workstation and custom mattress.
The fully enclosed bathroom to port has an electric toilet with holding tank, hand basin and vanity plus a good sized shower area.
The separate and fully enclosed aft cabin is to starboard with a very large berth, good locker/storage space with a light airey feel to it.
Heading on deck, the boat features a great cockpit ( with custom cushions) seating for up to ten, a very well designed helm pedestal with large stainless wheel, dedicated engine instrumentation "pod" and easy access to the controls.
Full Raymarine instrumentation is fitted including an autopilot plus self tailing winches, quality jammers/clutches and all leading back to the cockpit for easy handling short handed or fully crewed.
The mainsail is set-up with inmast furling so definitely no need to leave the cockpit at all to sail the boat.
Furling headsail, electric anchor winch, hard vang (easy for reefing) plus plus all completes the picture.
The 29hp Yanmar diesel motor has done only 200 hours approx and presents as new too, this drives the boat at a very economical cruising speed of 6 plus knots.
The access to the boat can be via the wide duck-board/swim platform then one step up to the transom gate giving same level access to the cockpit, or alternatively life line gates are fitted to each side of the boat for boarding via the decks.
WE CANNOT OVER EMPHASISE THE QUALITY, CONDITION AND PRESENTATION of this lovely yacht, and the fitout is of a better standard than many of the popular European brands.
