Following a MAJOR REFIT, and now presented in EXCELLENT ORDER with some very stylish "avant garde" touches, this great cruiser racer from the heyday of efficient club/offshore racers ( many have done the Sydney Hobart successfully) and serious offshore cruisers, this is a great opportunity to acquire one of these evergreen Bruce Farr designs with all the hard work done.
Stepping below, there is an immediate WOW factor with the new feel to the saloon area, the layout is as per the original design with a tweak or two and clever use of timber and solid colours.,
This area is spacious light and airey, providing a large U shaped dinette with settee opposite that will comfortably seat 8 plus and convert to additional berths, great galley area with plenty of bench space and storage, 4 burner gas stove with oven, fridge/freezer unit and stainless sink with pressurised hot/cold water.
Access to a single quarter berth (great sea-berth) is just aft of the galley area
The nav station opposite has large chart table, new electrical switch panel and good access to the instrumentation, with a great double quarter berth behind here.
Moving for'ard, the bathroom is fitted with an electric toilet, hot/cold shower (also one in the cockpit) and then into the for'ard cabin with large vee berth offering a great double or two singles.
The cockpit area allows plenty of room for the crew to relax or sail the boat hard, then when short handed all lines lead aft to the cockpit and cabin top for easy operation.
The decks have been repainted to a high standard, the internal re-fit does create a real wow factor, plenty of sails, many recent gear upgrades, this is an EXCELLENT PACKAGE virtually ready to go club racing or cruise offshore.
The current owners were living on the boat, they have now purchased a larger vessel to cruise the Pacific and beyond so are keen to sell this great Farr 11.6 yacht
