Whether you are looking for your next yacht to do a Sydney to Hobart race fully crewed or double handed, or a comfortable fast passage maker, this Jutson 39 is hard to go past. Built by leading Melbourne shipwright Mal Hart out of Cedar Epoxy fibreglassed over, the hull is exceptionally strong and light. This yacht has been highly successful, having completed 5 Sydney to Hobart races, and features a huge inventory of quality sails and offshore equipment. It has recently been cruised down to Hobart from the Gold Coast, and is easily managed shorthanded. This vessel has excellent potential to be competitive in the emerging double handed racing scene in events such as the Melbourne to Osaka Race.

Inside, the fit out has been designed to be comfortable for cruising and delivery trips, whilst keeping the vessel light and race ready. There are two saloon berths and two aft pipe cots. Additionally pipe cots could easily be added if more berths were required. The galley is well equipped with large fridge, 2 burner metho stove, and ample storage space. A fully enclosed toilet is forward, complete with hand basin. The open forepeak is perfect storage for race sails.

The wide open decks are typical of a modern race yacht, and are very well equipped with quality winches and deck gear. The vessel has been set up to be easily managed double handed with the boombag and lazy jacks for the main, all controls coming back to the cockpit, and Raymarine Tiller Pilot with remote control. An electric anchor winch is also fitted for easy cruising. This yacht also features a NEW 2008 Carbon Mast, and full set of carbon race sails all in very good condition, leaving little to spend to get this vessel to the start of your next race!

The vessel is powered by a NEW 2008 30HP D1-30 Volvo which has been very well maintained. This easily powers the vessel at 6 to 7 knots when required.

This vessel presents a great opportunity for someone to get into offshore racing and be competitive on IRC at an entry level price. This vessel would be perfect for a group of mates to form a syndicate, or individual owner to start racing. The comfortable interior will make delivery trips a joy, with the option of fast cruising as well. This vessel represents exceptional value and the vendor is motivated to sell as he has purchased another vessel. Please contract Jo Breen 0432 031 100 or John Radonic on 0459 322 862 for further information.
