Details
PROFESSIONALLY BUILT IN GALVANISED STEEL FROM THE WATERLINE UP, this is a large volume forty three footer with the space around the decks and particularly below more akin to a fifty footer,
Built in the Northern Territory the fitout lends itself to the more tropical climes with an open spacious feel below decks.
Stepping below from the good sized cockpit with fixed dodger (extending from the cabin top), the saloon area has dinette to port, good nav station to starboard and full galley just for'ard of this area but with easy access to the dinette. The galley includes three burner stove with oven and grill, large Fridge / Freezer plus large Ice box, stainless steel sink with pressurised fresh water and plenty of storage.
For'ard again is a double cabin to port plus fully enclosed head with hot/cold shower plus toilet and hand basin with large lockers opposite to starboard again excellent storage.
The for'ard cabin has two single berths and stacks of storage.
Back aft is a fully enclosed cabin with a king size single berth to port and then through the large door aft of the nav area is excellent access to the engine room, batteries, steering etc. This is very well thought out with extended cruising in mind.
A 33hp Yanmar diesel provides a comfortable 6 knots cruising speed.
The cockpit is deep and well set-up for managing the boat under sail, access around the decks is amazing due to the pod style cabin not consuming much space and is all presented in good order, and all the basics necessary to head off at short notice are fitted.
The boat has cruised extensively in the Aust Tropics and the current owner sailed the boat single handed from Far North Queensland to Tasmania.
It is now reluctantly for sale due to health reasons
THIS IS A GREAT OPPORTUNiTY to acquire a large volume, well built vessel with many options ( offshore cruising or perfect liveaboard) at a very reasonable price.
