Details
This charming Tasmanian designed and built motor sailor is superbly built of diagonal planked King Billy Pine over Celery Top Pine keel and frames and presents an excellent opportunity for anyone looking for a reliable vessel with the versatility a true motorsailor provides. This vessel has been in the same family from new, and has been regularly used for cruising in Southern Tasmanian waters. With its clean white hull, and varnished pilothouse, it turns heads where ever it goes.

Stepping inside, the timber fitout has been completed to a very high standard by its master craftsman builder. This gives a warm and traditional feel to the vessel. The wheelhouse is light and airy with the large windows providing excellent visibility. This area features two large settees and a helm seat, and is an excellent space to relax and enjoy cruising with full protection from the elements. Just an easy step down is the saloon. There is seating for 6 in comfort around the polished timber dinette. The galley is opposite and features a 2 burner gas stove with oven, stainless steel sink, icebox, and ample storage. Forward is the fully enclosed bathroom with electric toilet and vanity. The accommodation makes the vessel ideal for family cruising, with berths for up to 6 people including 2 in the forepeak, 2 in the saloon pilot berths, and two in the wheel house.

On deck, the cockpit is generously sized and has lazarettes with excellent storage. Sail handling is simple with the two self tailing winches, furling headsail, and mainsheet mounted close at hand. The wide side decks provide easy access forward, and the bow is well equipped with an anchor winch.

This vessel is powered by a 30HP Lister 3 Cylinder Diesel engine with only 600 hours on the clock. This has been well maintained and provides easy cruising at 5 to 6 knots.

With its attractive lines and traditional elegance, this vessel provides an excellent platform to explore our stunning waterways in an iconically Tasmanian vessel. These motor sailors are always highly sort after for their versatility and sea keeping abilities and an inspection is recommended.
